Dominique is a member of the development team who has been at MPC for a couple of years and before that worked at Aardman Animation in Bristol, England for a year or so. Before that she was a PhD student at Bristol University. She'll be talking about fusing a passion for art with technology and the freedom that choosing a career in Software has given her.
Sergii Baidachnyi, Principal Technical Evangelist, Microsoft Developer Experience & Evangelism (DX) Canada
Sergii has been working in information technologies area for more than 15 years, 8 of those he works for Microsoft. Sergii lived in Ukraine his entire life and just moved to Canada. Therefore, If you know Russian, you can find his many books on SQL Server, C#, ASP.NET, Silverlight and Windows 8. Now that he is in Canada, Sergii promised to create a lot of English content, so, probably soon there
Caroline Liu, Senior Software Developer, Salesforce
Caroline Liu is a senior software developer at Salesforce. She is on the Release Architecture Development team (aka team RAD), which is responsible for packaging, distributing and deploying Salesforce software to data centers around the world (aka "the cloud"). Caroline graduated SFU in 2005 with a minor in Computing Science and a major in Cognitive Science, focusing on Computing, Linguistics and Psychology. She started her career writing automated tests and infrastructure at the computer security company Sophos. In her spare time, she enjoys trying new things like rock climbing, Python, running, coffee, Raspberry Pi, traveling, biking and piano.

Ben Cole, Head of Software for Canada, MPC
Ben Cole has worked in the space of creative technology and visual effects for over 20 years. During that time he has had the opportunity to explore a range of problem domains, from robotic motion control to motion capture, from AI based crowds to physical simulation, as well as data-management and workflow for massive datasets. He has worked at MPC for 10 years where he has see it grow from a company with a couple of hundred employees to a global enterprise with offices all around the world. He moved to Vancouver in 2008 to help set up the Vancouver facility and is currently the Head of Software for Canada, managing software teams in Vancouver and Montreal. Just a few of the movie projects he has worked on in that time include: Watchmen, Godzilla, Man of Steel, Mocking Jay, Maleficent, Guardians of the Galaxy and Life of Pi.
